Anti-Christ? Not sure...

Some of the people who has seen me said are you anti-Christ? Hahaha, it might have been because of my top. But is it? I don't know I bought it because it looks good. :)) This outfit post is just a quick one! Promise.

A close -up shot of my top.

A bottom change, for I find going with a skirt would be best to move around.

If you'll notice, the back part of my said top is long. Actually, it's a dress which I turned into a top.

On me:
Black dress | Thrifted
Red Pants | From a Random Boutique
Printed Skirt | World Bazaar Festival
Checkered Polo
Platform Shoes
Black watch | Divisoria

Till my next post!

BU6 Finds!

Whaddup, whaddup!

Truthfully, I am really very thankful for Ana Gonzales and Aisa Ipac for organizing an event such as Blogger's United. And as it is on its sixth installment, I really can't help myself from going to BU ever since my first go, since BU3 pa! The fun and excitement I get every time I go there is just priceless and it s never a waste of time.

This current blogger's united was, as I can say, where I was able to hoard lots; well, if you compare it to the BU finds I got from the previous BU installments.

So, here are my finds in the recent blogger's united! :)

Let's take a closer look. :)

Orange leather dress | Nicole Anderson's booth
BMS Pins | Laureen Uy's booth
Neon Green Necklace | Ava Te-Zabat's booth
Grey necklace | Laureen Uy's booth
4 colored braided bracelet | Dani Barretto's booth
All the other bracelets | Laureen Uy's booth

Leather boots | Lissa Kahayon's booth
Flower Crown | Laureen Uy's booth

These Malunggay cookies aren't from blogger's united but I posted them here anyway. This was from Green Baker's stall in the Noel Bazaar just beneath where blogger's united was being held.

Gold transparent bag | Laureen Uy's booth
Blue Notebook | Marj Sia's booth
The Carrie Diaries bag | given away in the ETC channel booth

Black boho bag | Lissa Kahayon's booth

Mensense bag | Joseph Cham's booth

I also bought nail polishes which I am wearing right now! :)) As well, as a nail polish remover which came from Korea~

Annnd, a customized paper bag from Ava Te-Zabat of artsyfartsyava.blogspot.com
whom I bought the neon necklace from. :)

That's it! Hahaha, up next a short post on my outfit last BU6.

Blogger's United 6 Experience

One week before Blogger's United 6, different fashion bloggers and sponsors of BU6 are already giving away free passes on their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. As, I so wanted to win free tix so that can lessen my expenses when BU comes, I grabbed all the chances I can get and joined the giveaways of the different bloggers who hosted their ticket giveaway, through their blog and twitter accounts. Fortunately, I won 14 tickets from 10 different bloggers and my problem came! Hahaha! Now to whom will I give and share the tickets?

I contacted my friends, cousins, and asked my sisters to come with me to BU6, and even told them to tag friends along if they can! And there, problem solved! :) Now, hello Blogger's United 6!

The event was fully participated by bloggers, fashionista's and families and friends of friends. As BU6 was happening alongside with the Noel Bazaar, long lines were really there to welcome you. In the event, you will see, booths with the bloggers themselves or their family and friends selling their items. The items were well discounted and you can even haggle on them if you can.

That Zebra over there really caught my attention to head to Reese Lansangan's booth! So sayang lang  the head is kind off cut off in this picture. :))

Can you spot Christine Liwag, Kelly Medina and Yuki Tansengco? :)

Why was BU6 so fun?? Let me count the ways... :))

  1. You get to see and meet bloggers and ask to have a photo with them.
  2. You get to by stuff for really cheap prices!
  3. There is an Instax booth there, where you can get your photo taken for free!
  4. Also, a Kotex and ETC channel booth that are giving away items for free.
  5. A MadHouse photo booth is up where you just have to pay 20 pesos for the printing.
  6. The bloggers and BU6 sponsors were giving away items and gift certificates to those who joined the games and won best in what-so-ever! hahaha
  7. There were good music playing on the background.
  8. Lastly, bagging loads of stuff is priceless!Hahaha!!~

So what did I do here? Of course! I can't miss going to an event like this with out taking photos with bloggers and the people I was with. And shop also while doing all these! :))

18 November 2013

Orange, that's the color for the day!

Currently, I have been very busy with school and other things a bit related. It has been long since I last posted outfit shots, so here is one.

Went out to do some grocery for my mom and was brought along by my sister who took my outfit shots for this.

Hello to bandages! :)) I slipped while jogging on wet rough cemented flooring and got myself big wounds from the accident. :/ Dumb me. So, I decided to wear this long skirt to somehow cover my big bruises on both knees..

Did the shots for this on a closed and well lit boutique.

I look thin here! hahaha!! So proud of myself. Chos!

On me:
Orange owl designed top | Thrifted
Beige skirt | Thrifted
Sequined shoes | Human
Necklace | my mom's
Flesh Braided Bracelet | Anything Handmade
Beaded Bracelets | from Divisoria

Anddd, hello to my photographer Pauline De Los Reyes~ :)

Pauline... sorry for the not so good shot, hahahhaa!!

Being very busy this term..
Till the next

PFW S/S2014: Ben Farrales

A very impressive backdrop from the Dean of Philippine Fashion, Ben Farrales.
The succeeding photographs are the only ones I find the best of the best. :)) Forgot to take photographs for the others, maybe in awe or most probably because I am tired already from the first 2 shows taking photographs with a heavy cam. Most of the shots are taken by my sister. Thanks to her I have photos for this. hahahaha~

I so love it how this part of the collection looks so modern compared to the others but those "ancient" pieces are just so precious and really worth watching till the end, and more.

Ben Farrales' pieces just showcase how rich the culture of the Philippines was in the old days and the materials he used were of no joke to tell you. Also, being able to see it up close, brings back feels of the past as if the clothes were brought back to life in the old days. Being accompanied with an audio, I believe it created more drama, no, it should not be I believe, the audio really did the trick to bring more drama to the clothes while it was being walked on the runway.

This all back view was so hilarious for me. Considering the fact that these were the only ones I and my sister got to get a shot of for the models seem to be in such a hurry! hahaha!!~

Can you see how intricate the gold lace is? So precious, looks so glamorous and rich. Still has that vibrant color even if it is more than 20 years old. Plus the Maria Clara vibe is still in existence.

It is truly such a privilege to have his collections be in a row like this with good ambient light. It was totally a blast seeing it so up close, with my point of view coming from the farthest back. However, I kind of find the cam setting for this one a bit fail. Maybe because of the lights inside. Actually there weren't any lights inside! :)) Black out, only the runway has lights on it (of course), as you can notice from the photos above.

Anyway, an outfit post on the next.~
